25 weeks

The beginning of the belly:)




































I have continued to be very lucky in this pregnancy. Feeling great and good check-ups all the way! She's moving A LOT which is a wonderful feeling!

Now that we've had the big nursery reveal I can post pictures of building the crib! GG & Grandpa bought Baby C the crib and I think a mattress that is better than ours! She should sleep well on that thing!

surprise!

I got back to the most wonderful surprise last night! After a few days of rest & relaxation at the beach I came home to a painted nursery! Brandon & I picked out bedding a few weeks ago and ordered a piece so we could pick a paint color. Lucky us the asparagus green that didn't work in the living room looked awesome with the Paisley Park bedding! We've also ordered a super comfy chair and all the bedding so we're looking forward to that delivery! Next step, painting the dresser & changing table...

kicks?

Last night I felt the baby kick for the first time! I was of course super excited and tried to wake Brandon up...he rolled over but didn't remember this morning. Here's to hoping for some kicks tonight while he's still up!

spoiled already!

So little baby girl C is already spoiled, I'm sure no one is shocked by that! I know she'll get a million more gifts along the way but I wanted to share some of her first few!

She's sure to be a Wahoo! The very first gift she received was the receiving blanket from Pia & Pops (I think they had that long before I was even pregnant...)! The first baby purchases I made were the UVa onsies & GG completed the outfit with the hat!

Also, before we knew she was a she Nay Nay found these towels..."gender neutral" she would say!

After finding out we were having a girl I had the joy of shopping with GG, Pia, & Auntie Dee! Oh this is going to be dangerous!

P.S. Poor Sadie doesn't know what's about to hit!

Brandon was not so keen on the jacket & jean skirt outfit. He said the skirt was too short and I found this note on my dresser the next morning...

Aunt Bethie found the perfect bib for her Thanksgiving arrival!

GG has gotten a lot of firsts for the baby - first purse, first tooth holder, first curl holder, first "shoes", and the most adorable hats you've ever seen!

GG also found these clothes organizers! You know how I love to organize! Her temporary closet is in the laundry room until we decide which room will definitely be hers.

Grandpa found a little pink onsie in PA over the weekend....

GG dropped off another bag of goodies this afternoon...too cute!

We are so thankful for everything and baby C is sure to be the best dressed baby around!

So I am going to attempt this blog thing to include all our friends & family on the updates of our new addition. Two of my very dear friends Maureen & Molly have blogs that I follow religiously so I thought "I'll try it!"

Our most recent news is that we are expecting a baby GIRL on November 9th! No names yet but we're definitely working on that now that we know she's four months away. Here's to our new addition and all the excitement that will be sure to come with her!
