Mom & Auntie Dee's Shower

A few weekends ago (sorry back to school and therefore delayed on the blogging!) my mom, Aunt and Nay Nay threw me a wonderful shower! Nay Nay wasn't official but she helped a lot:) Baby C got a ton of wonderful gifts, a HUGE thanks to all! I don't have pictures of all the gift opening, which if you know me is just fine by me! But here are a few...

The diaper cake my mom made! Pretty amazing considering it took patience and neatness...haha love you mom!

Pretty nursery colors!

Me and Nay Nay

The hostesses and me!
All the amazing gifts...
Two AWESOME friends and moms, Maureen & Nicole! Thanks for your help ladies!
Post-gift opening...it's like Christmas morning!
After I organized everything...do we think she'll have anything to wear?!

She's got better shoes than her mom! Thanks GG & Mrs. Thompson...we'll have one stylish little girl!

Again a million thanks to everyone, we can't say it enough!

28 weeks - 3rd trimester!

Where has the time gone? We're already in the 3rd trimester & getting ready to go back to school...yikes! Another good appointment last week and now I go every 2 weeks until the last month, I honestly can't believe it! The doctor said Baby C is measuring a little small but that's just fine by me! Maybe it will make labor just a smidgen easier? HA!

Mom & Dad to be at Pops 60th birthday dinner!

28 weeks:)

nursery reveal

Brandon did not want the nursery to be revealed in stages, he only wanted to show the final product. So he worked really hard to get the majority of it done by Friday so we could show our families and all of our out of town guests. I think you'll agree he did an AMAZING job! What an interior decorator I've got on my hands:) I think Baby C is on her way to being Daddy's little girl, or perhaps Daddy's little Princess (with a capital P)!

Thanks again GG & Grandpa for the crib and mattress! And thanks to Pia & Pops for the most comfortable chair ever (I have a funny feeling I'll be sleeping in this chair quite a bit)! Also, thanks for the bookcase!

{Once baby C has a name her monogram will go over her crib...one of these days!}

The dressers are from my mom & aunt's room growing up then I had them growing up...we're definitely getting our use out of them! Thanks Nay Nay & Pop Pop!

Her closet is already getting quite full! Definitely spoiled!

big birthdays

The intent of my blogging was to include major events in the Crawford household. I guess Baby C has taken the front seat since that's all I've written about but we had some big birthday celebrations this weekend and lots of surprises! Nay Nay turned 80 and Dad will be 60 next week so we had a weekend filled of fun! Friday night Brandon and I had the beginning of the party and Mom completed that Saturday with a big celebration!

The first surprise happened Friday afternoon when Cousin Roger & Pam showed up at Mom's to surprise Nay Nay!

That was quickly followed by a surprise from Nanci & Wayne coming from Arizona to surprise Mom & Dad!

The next surprise came when Dad found out where he was going on his secret birthday trip...VEGAS!! Let's cross our fingers he does as well there as he did in Aruba!

The surprises continued the next day at Mom's! Cousin Eddie and Amy flew in from Colorado and surprised Nay Nay & Dad with leis flown in from Hawaii!

The Hogrebe Fam!

Sisters...Aunt Gwynnie & Nay Nay

crib!

Now that we've had the big nursery reveal I can post pictures of building the crib! GG & Grandpa bought Baby C the crib and I think a mattress that is better than ours! She should sleep well on that thing!

Poor Sadie doesn't know what's coming....

{Nice how I'm acting like I built it huh?!}

surprise!

I got back to the most wonderful surprise last night! After a few days of rest & relaxation at the beach I came home to a painted nursery! Brandon & I picked out bedding a few weeks ago and ordered a piece so we could pick a paint color. Lucky us the asparagus green that didn't work in the living room looked awesome with the Paisley Park bedding! We've also ordered a super comfy chair and all the bedding so we're looking forward to that delivery! Next step, painting the dresser & changing table...
