Easter

We had a wonderful Easter brunch! Unfortunately, Adelyn wasn't in the Peter Cotton-Tail mood and wasn't feeing too great but we still got some cute pictures (unbiased of course).

5 months!

It's hard to believe Adelyn is 5 months old! Some updates:
- tried rice cereal mixed with applesauce a few times
- rolling like crazy
- smiling
- laughing
- starting to like peek-a-boo
- moving all over her crib
- when she's on her tummy she's moving her legs like crazy (yikes!)
- loves her toes
- very interested in the doggies
- still loves to read

Long overdue...

This post is loooong overdue, my apologies!  I need to figure out this work and blogging thing:) So this past month plus has brought lots of new things!  Here are just a few...

Other things in Adelyn's life: rolling over (front to back and back to front), tried rice cereal this week (she wasn't quite sure what to do!), very interested in hands and especially feet, brings anything and everything to her mouth, is already a "Daddy's girl"...she lights up the minute she hears his voice, and tries to do the V-sit (we call it Adelyn's pilates).  She is still loving her thumb, swinging, reading, & bath time!

snow day!

I had my first snow day today and thoroughly enjoyed it! We finally got our TV fixed yesterday so I was able to enjoy the Today show, a cup of cinnamon bun coffee, a homemade bagel & snuggle time with my little love bug! Adelyn tried out her bumpo today {thanks LT & Jon} and did much better than the first time I tried a few weeks ago.  She's still loving her swing, her LEFT thumb {a girl can always hope can't she?}, laying on her back & kicking her legs, listening to books, and bath time.

thumb sucker:) I'm not sure why I'm so surprised by this but it still amazes me, maybe because I didn't?! Adelyn beefed up her thumb sucking talent by the end of the week. Here's some proof....
