snow day!

I had my first snow day today and thoroughly enjoyed it! We finally got our TV fixed yesterday so I was able to enjoy the Today show, a cup of cinnamon bun coffee, a homemade bagel & snuggle time with my little love bug! Adelyn tried out her bumpo today {thanks LT & Jon} and did much better than the first time I tried a few weeks ago.  She's still loving her swing, her LEFT thumb {a girl can always hope can't she?}, laying on her back & kicking her legs, listening to books, and bath time.

thumb sucker:) I'm not sure why I'm so surprised by this but it still amazes me, maybe because I didn't?! Adelyn beefed up her thumb sucking talent by the end of the week. Here's some proof....

happy valentine's day

Valentine's day marked Adelyn's first trip to "school" and my first day back at school...happy heart day to us! Although it was difficult, mommy & daddy gave her lots of love, a kiss good-bye and off we went!

Also, happy 8th Birthday to Sadie girl! She's taken the big change well, from the star of the show to a member of the audience. She enjoyed some treats from Grandma and Frosty Paws for dessert!

I still don't feel like I've gotten one of her best conversations but here's another more recent one!

So little Miss has been "talking" for awhile now but she has started to find her voice and she's gotten louder over the past week or so.

Over the past few days I've caught Adelyn sucking her thumb! Not sure if this is good or bad but considering I have to go back to work tomorrow {BIG BIG sad face:(} and leave my love bug if it makes her feel better I think I'm okay with it!
